Domain Registrar Change

I am moving my domains from Go Daddy and the site may experience a temporary downtime.

I am moving the domains because of Go Daddy's initial response to the SOPA bill.

Go Daddy initially said:

"Not only is there no First Amendment concern, but the notion that we should turn a blind eye to criminal conduct because other countries may take oppressive steps in response is an affront to the very fabric of this nation."

Once they realized the boycott was growing they dropped their support of the bill and released this statement:

"Fighting online piracy is of the utmost importance, which is why Go Daddy has been working to help craft revisions to this legislation—but we can clearly do better," Warren Adelman, Go Daddy's newly appointed CEO, said. "It's very important that all Internet stakeholders work together on this. Getting it right is worth the wait. Go Daddy will support it when and if the Internet community supports it."

The internet will not stand for this draconian bill that will allow anonymous take downs of websites. We already have protections in place for digital copyrights. See: DMCA*. I personally do not feel SOPA is the way our country should be heading in protecting digital intellectual rights. We do not need a great firewall in the USA.

To learn more about SOPA, visit the wikipedia page on the bill.

*Oops, I originally used the DOMA acronym. COMPLETELY different act.

New Forum Style

I finally got around to replacing the forum style we were using before. It had been broken for a long time and was quite out of date. The new style has a bunch of changes. Some of the changes I am not a big fan of, but let me know what you guys hate or like. That way... I can change everything you like and keep everything you hate.

Side bonus: People can register on the forums again. I want everyone to welcome the Russian and Chinese spammers that get through the filter.

Monday Night Combat!!!

A lot of Moa Birds have been playing Monday Night Combat lately. It's a third person shooter that's a mix of TFC, TF2, and DotA. It's still in beta, but for $13.49 you're given beta access and, of course, the actual game when it's released a week from this posting. Tremendous value, and there's murmurings of potentially starting/joining a clan once the community starts developing...so stay tuned for that as well :)

If you're a visitor to the site and want to play some MNC with us, get to know us, etc then send me a PM in the forums or message me on Steam. I'll hook you up with our Mumble info and you can join us.

Port: 62735
Password: Same as it was for Ventrilo.

Check out the new video section. Flash Player is required.

Levicon posted some old school Guild Wars pictures: here.

Sorry, China.

China should no longer be able to post messages to this site. The only Chinese people who have been visiting here are spammers wanting to sell us dresses and penis drugs. While both could be useful, we are not interested. If you have a Chinese friend who would like to post messages to the site, please send me his/her IP address and I will remove their IP from the filter.

If you are a Chinese spammer and are able to reply to this... Damn it. You win. Feel free to spam.
